The UK Programmes department has recently made significant changes to its organisational platform, and is seeking talented people to join the team to help us meet our ambitious targets to deliver change through our range of programmes for children living in poverty across the UK.
About the Role
The role will provide the Family and School Together (FAST) programme with a function focused on programme information and communication, with responsibility for programme information, internal communication; external communications, logistical and administrative support; donor information; and ensuring the voices of children and families are heard and represented.
- To be the first and key point (within the core team) of contact for the FAST programme internally and externally providing advice and guidance as appropriate
- To work closely with the RM&E Manager, FAST Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and Middlesex to ensure our FAST data is accurate and accessible in order to develop and maintain effective reporting systems that support the programme
- To play a key role in project planning and target setting including coordinating quarterly delivery reviews
- To coordinate key FAST events and workshops with assistance from the FAST Team Administrator as needed
You will have proven ability and experience in programme coordination and experience of developing and delivering data management systems
You will have proven experience in financial procedures in order to correct, analyse, understand and use financial and numerical information and have experience in project management
You will have experience of working directly with vulnerable children and families and clear understanding of safeguarding issues for families living in poverty in a UK context
