Madagascar Declaration: Resolutions of the first National Urban Forum

These are the resolutions passed at the first National Urban Forum in Madagascar held on 27-28 March 2013 with the theme: "Building together the future of our cities". The forum adopted the declaration with sound recommendations to consider urban sector as a national priority and call for better urban planning and management and the need for active participation of local authorities, the private sector and civil society.

The Fifth Steering Committee Meeting of the World Urban Campaign was held in Shanghai, China, 8-10 October 2010, during the UN-Habitat week at the World Expo 2010.The meeting was hosted- by the China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce and held at the Eton Hotel, Shanghai. The meeting was attended by 50 participants, representing a comprehensive range of UN-HABITAT Partners.
