The 1992 Nigerian Urban and Regional Planning Law is planning instrument promulgated by the military government of Nigeria to provide comprehensive urban and regional planning at all levels of government, however with the advent of democratic rule, the state governments challenged the law at the supreme court since Nigeria is now a federal republic.
