Bhimeshwor Is a hilly municipality situated in Dolakha District,Janakpur Zone of the Mid Development Region of Nepal. It lies on the lap of Gourishankar Himalaya. The terrain varies from an elevation of 840m to 3539 m above mean see level. The btotal area of municipality is 65 sq. km.
being located in the middle mountain region, the climate of Bhimeshwor is essentially warm tempreture or sub tropical and cold tropical. The tempreture ranges from minimum 8 degree to maximum 19 degree Celsius.
Due to urbanisation, the composition in land use pattern is changing. Because of the overall infrastructure development and the people's choice to settle in the urban area, the municipality is changing fast from its previous land use pattern.
