The Research and Documentation Centre in Technology, Architecture and City in Developing Countries (CRD-PVS) at the Politecnico di Torino (Italy) is glad to announce that on January 23rd, after an intensive evaluation process run by the International Jury, the winners of the tur(i)ntogreen international design competition have been named.
The tur(i)ntogreen competition (sponsored by the UN-HABITAT within the "I'm a City Changer" campaign) has been open to University students from around the world. Participants were invited to apply their creative talents in developing new multidisciplinary solutions for a sustainable and inclusive city reflecting on new forms of urban management and regeneration through agro - housing and urban - farming models.
Results obtained are excellent and beyond any expectations, both for the high number of participants from all over the world (308 students organized in 109 groups, 46 universities involved from over 24 countries are only some references…) and for the quality and originality of the submitted materials!
