The MERI network launches the Mayors Making the Most of EU Funds for Roma Awards. Best practices (supported with relevant case work) in using EU and other available donor funds for Roma Inclusion in the areas of education, employment, health, housing and public utilities will be acknowledged at the first MERI Conference and Awards ceremony which will be hosted by the European Commission and MtM on 4 and 5 October 2012 in Budapest, under the patronage of László Andor, Member of the European Commission.

Non-decade countries include Spain, Italy, France, the UK, Germany, Greece, Portugal among others.
